E like electric, elegant, efficient, extraordinary, easy – all of these could serve to describe the feeling of this trip designed for those who feel like exploring without too much sweat, especially on a hot summer day.

In other words, after introduction to our bikes we start riding from the center of Split with the aim to discover what the peninsula of Marjan, also known as the city's lungs, means to local people who frequent and adore it. We'll cycle along its more and less taken roads, hermits' dwellings and make stops at the viewpoints that on a good visibility day can show us not just the city panorama but distant mountain tops and remote islands on the horizon. Taking its uphill and downhill routes we'll plunge into the beauty of Split's most immediate nature getaway to find its charming corners unveiling before our wheels and senses. Of course this hill has its past and present and we'll tell you about its history and how significant it has been for people of Split for hundreds of years.

We'll have time to stop, whether for coffee, swim or simply to admire and absorb the atmosphere of a, say, nice spot on our way, be it in the shade of a pine tree or a 16th century little stone church blended harmoniously into this wonderful Mediterranean garden.
